What Do You Do If Your Cat Bites You?
Posted by Jeanne on March 23, 2009

Biting is not a fun thing when your cat has sharp little teeth. Often cats tend to bite or nip when they are playing around, and it is quite a painful shock when those teeth connect with your skin.
To get your cat to stop this painful behavior, you need to take the right steps. The next time he decides to take a playful nip at whatever skin is handy, you can choose to do one of two things. You can either hiss at him like another cat would do or scream in pain. Either one of these reactions is sure to get your cat’s attention and make him stop.

Thanks for the Twitter follow! Love your blog … well, except for the part about telling my human to hiss at me when I bite her, which I did this week: http://artsycatsy.blogspot.com/2009/03/rocky-uh-oh.html

I read your blog post and saw your picture! Sure looks bad. I do hope you went to the doctor…
Do you have any recommendations on how to get your cat to stop biting?
